Project Review

Our Project Reviews are designed to give management an independent assessment of project status, highlighting and recommending approaches to mitigate risk and maximise opportunities.

We take a holistic and pragmatic approach to project reviews looking at the business context, people, processes and technology.

It is a fact that most organisations do not undertake project reviews as standard.  Reviews are often commissioned only when management suspect there is a problem. But they do save time and money.

We recommend that as a minimum a review of the project is undertaken at the start to critique:

  • business case
  • planning assumptions
  • alternatives proposed
  • scope and requirements are clear and unambiguous
  • risk has been considered and mitigated
  • that appropriate skills, experience and resources are in-place
  • that the project is aligned with business goals and objectives
  • that the project has the required authority and consensus to proceed
  • that quality is integral to the plan
  • that benefits are identified, quantified and measurable

Ensuring that projects are correctly established and resourced creates a solid foundation on which to proceed.

We aim to deliver a report and recommendations that not only provide management with the information they need, but the project team with as much assistance as we can within the framework of the review.

Being proactive saves time and money.

Our project reviews are not a tick box exercise, they are pragmatic designed from the ground up to help people take their projects forward successfully.
